Nice boat i am guessing its on sale Smiley. Anyway few questions for this 1. What is matte painting? And did u use some bridge for background or buildings and then draw over it or u did this 1 from blank paper?

Well I started with a nice sunny picture of the city and then made it into snow and ice.

Matte painting is the background paintings they use in movies. You can see a lot more of it on this site. http://www.mattepainting.org/
