OK while we are doing top ten lists what about this one. Top ten movies of all time.

This is really hard but off the top of my head and in no real order.

Apocalypse Now
Citizen Kane
Star Wars - I will take this over Avatar any day.
Lawrence Of Arabia
Blade Runner
Cleopatra (1963)
Schindler's List
The Wizard of Oz
2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY
The Searchers 1956
NATIONAL VELVET (1945)
The Maltese Falcon 1941
The Philadelphia Story (1940)
Ben-Hur

Hmm this is hard. Smiley

Oh boy, hmm.

Star Wars
Metropolis
A Clockwork Orange
Fight Club
Shawshank Redemption
The Dark Knight
V for Vendetta
Lord of the Rings (Loved the books)
District 9
The Matrix (Why did they have to continue it?!)

And yeah, I could probably name 10 more.  Love lots of old movies too.

Well could say top movies of all time and let people stop where they want to. That way if you want to do the top 500 well then go ahead:)

Ill start out with a few that stands out as "Must see" movies for me. Completing the list later on.

Edit: haha, yeah im on it. Pat Smiley

So, okay, ive seen way too few of the "classics" that probably would take up most of the spots on a list like this, so rather than being the "best" movies, lets call this 10 personal favorites.

Lost in Translation
Amelie from Montmartre
Moulin Rouge
Lord of the Rings (1 or all of them)
Reservoir Dogs
---
Pirates of the Carribean (1)
Kill Bill 2
Groundhog Day
Love Actually
Pans Labyrinth
Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz

(Ghaa, 11 entries...well 12 to be honest..oh lists..)

Maybe it would be easier to make this list if you chose the top 10 movies of various genres, like drama, horror, sci-fi etc.
